No longer.
The Midwest's oldest, largest canine grooming show -- in Rosemont this weekend -- demonstrated how the business has changed since the event was first held in 1973.
It's a billion-dollar industry. Demand for trained groomers is high. One booth at the All American Grooming Show was selling $1,000 scissors.
