A pooch paradise – Paw Spa Bonetique – has opened in the historic Floral Heights business district and owners Henry Hernandez and Scott Potter have all the necessities to pamper their four-legged customers.
The business, located at 1920 Tenth St., Suite 2, specializes in dog accessories, grooming and much more.
The shop also features two suites – South Pawdre and Wichita Paws – designed as day-care areas for customers who need to leave their dogs for the day. The suites come complete with a bed, TV with VCR (doggie videos are played), toys and water bowl.
“They are decorated with stuff from our house,” Potter said.
The suites are available for $15 per day, and bathing costs an additional $10 to $25, depending on the size of the dog.
Bakery items range from birthday bones and pretzels to brownie-looking treats to cookies and cupcakes. For the sports-minded master, some of the treats are shaped like footballs, complete with their favorite Wichita Falls high school football team colors. The bakery treats cost between $1.30 and $4.
